Gay & Lesbian Associations in the French Alps

Rando's Rhône-Alpes, a not-for-profit association started in April 1987, is for gays and lesbians to get together for outdoor sport activities in the mountains of the Alps: hiking, mountain biking, skiing, snow shoeing and other winter sports. Regular programme of activies in Grenoble, also Lyon and St-Etienne. Some members are English-speaking.

Same Sex Marriage in France
French law does not accept same sex marriage, however the National Assembly passed a gay-inclusive domestic-partnership law in October 1999, which affords some of the legal benefits of traditional marriage: the Pacte Civile de Solidarité (PaCS).
