We want to visit my daughter in Nancy for Christmas. Which is the best route, bearing in mind the possible weather conditions around that time?

Probably best to stick to the Motorway if you are worried about the weather, but they can be just as bad for driving on in the snow. Via Michelin recommend the Motorway Route. http://www.viamichelin.co.uk/...uelType=0

Thanks for that Zee Zee, I think that you are right and we will stick to the Autoroute, at least we are going up the week before so should get there without too many problems.
