I have a sky+ box for sale with remote and power cable, but no viewing card. It is in great condition and works very well. You just need to get yourself a sky freeview card or sky subscription. Price is €55 plus postage costs. Happy to answer any questions but please note that I actually don't know that much about how it all works.

Hi, yes you do need a satellite dish. Not sure what the minimm size you need is but our one is about 60cm and we have not problem with signal unless it is raining/snowing very heavily. I would recommend you find a dish installer unless you know someone with the gadget box that tells you signal strength to get the dish aligned properly. I can thoroughly recommend Andy at Astrasat if you are anywhere near Chamonix. Hope this helps.
